Built around family suite or connecting-room accommodation, shorter drive days, and activities that work for younger travellers alongside standard game drives: a Maasai village visit framed appropriately for children, and a gentle canoe safari on Arusha National Park’s Momella Lakes, a genuinely low-impact activity that tends to hold kids’ attention better than another hour in a vehicle. The pace throughout is deliberately slower than our standard circuits, with more downtime at camp between drives and full days built around a single park rather than long transfers. Both the Ngorongoro Crater and the Maasai Mara feature prominently, since a contained, wildlife-dense area tends to work better for younger attention spans than open plains driving. This is a genuinely private trip, not a family-oriented group tour: your own vehicle, your own pace, and a guide used to travelling with children.
Connecting rooms or family tents at every camp on the route

Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha. An early night is usually welcome after a long flight, particularly with children.
A gentle, low-impact canoe safari on the Momella Lakes, with giraffe and hippo often visible from the water and no engine noise to disturb them. A good first activity for younger travellers easing into the trip.
A shorter drive than our standard circuit to Tarangire, with an afternoon game drive among elephant herds. Camp swimming pools tend to be a welcome sight on arrival
A relaxed full day, with a shorter afternoon drive deliberately built in to allow pool time at camp before dinner.
Transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, arriving in time to settle in before dinner.
A full day on the crater floor, reliably excellent Big Five viewing within a contained area, generally easier going for younger children than a full day of open-plains driving elsewhere.
Light-aircraft transfer into the Maasai Mara, a novelty in itself for younger travellers. Afternoon at leisure or a gentle game drive on arrival.
Morning Maasai village visit, framed thoughtfully for younger guests, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Final game drive, then transfer to Nairobi.
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
